The site marked out... Work starts on the inside of B186 in preparation
for removal of the metal cladding.

Starting excavation for the foundations and false floor.

The metal cladding by the green door is to be replaced by a
continuation of the concrete wall. These pictures (especially the one on
the left) show the deeper excavations to support the foundations for this
wall.
6th April
Pouring concrete to support the new B186 wall.
11th April
The wall foundations (and improved security!) in place.
17th April
The base of B613 takes shape.
19th April
A base for B613 is in place. The steel reinforcements at front
left are for the wall isolating the air conditioning equipment from the
silo area.
24th April
Installing reinforcements for the foundations and walls.
26th April
The reinforcements advance and shuttering for the concrete
is in place for some walls.
27th April
Pouring concrete for the foundations.
3rd May
The first wall in place and installing shuttering for the
second.
11th May
Removing the B186 cladding with wall bases mostly in place
16th May
B613 wall bases in place and work well advanced on the new
concrete wall for B186.
I believe the objects that can be seen inside B186 on the right hand
photograph are part of the CMS electromagnetic calorimeter.
30th May
All the concrete in place ready for the wall and roof
supports.
6th June
Installing the wall and roof supports.
11th June
All wall and roof supports installed.
2nd July
With a roof... but after a heavy thunderstorm!
5th July
Digging the caniveau for cables.
11th July
Installing the concrete sides for the caniveau.
