The following safety linkmen have been appointed to ensure the safety and tidiness of areas of the machine room used by their group.

For reference,  CERN's Safety Policy Document, SAPOCO/42, defines the responsibilities of Safety Linkmen as follows.

9.1 Safety Linkmen are appointed by and are accountable to their Group Leader, with the agreement of the Divisional Safety Officer. Their names are included in the Divisional Safety Plan. They are expected to be in close daily contact, and knowledgeable about, with all those aspects of the Group's work for which they have been given a Safety responsibility.

9.2 Their principal duties as linkmen are:

1. on behalf of their Group Leader, to monitor the Safety of working methods, equipment and premises, so as to advise members of the Group and the Group Leader on dangerous situations and on actions to be taken to improve Safety;
2. to provide information and arrange for Safety training for all members of the group, and in particular for newcomers and people temporarily attached to it;
3. to provide liaison in matters of Safety between their Group, the Divisional and other Safety Officers and the TIS Commission.
